by Susan McAuley Visit Date:April 25, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Loved it. I would stay again if I was headed that way. You must have your own transport though as it is a way out. Lovely facilities and excellent value for money.
(If you book a raft just unscrew the light bulb outside before you go to bed or it will seem like day all night)." |
by Perrin Visit Date:April 4, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "very very hard to find, map on hotel site wrong in distance.
when we arrive our room (most expensive room of hotel, village cottage) was near kitchen engines (noise and smell) and it will be very hard for change room with reception.
manager.we pay 600 baths/night for extrabed for a 6 years child instead of hotel and sawadee notice (no charge for a 6 years child)." |
March 14, 2010 by Patti Freudenburg Visit Date:March 5, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Peaceful and quiet, but VERY far away from everything! Food became very repetitive after a few days. We were there during slow season; it may be different during high season." |
by christer carlsson Visit Date:February 2, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The hotel has seen its best times and once I can believe it was a great stay. The river and surroundings where great but the rest was rather poor. If you want to stay here you need a car. Dont expect to much and you need to speak Thai because the staff cant speak english" |
great!, September 14, 2009 by Marco Santilli Visit Date:September 7, 2009 "good hotel, but the last day the brekfast was really poor" |
by Siriwan Visit Date:August 16, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Its a very long trip to get to the resort but its worth it in the end. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and is a perfect little get away for 2 (leave the kids with the in-laws). The rooms is nice and has a warm feeling and is perfect for a romantic weekend. Activities are available if desired. Decent menu and OK food prices." |
Fast, reliable en efficient., August 9, 2009 by GJJ de Jonge Visit Date:July 18, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Beautiful resort, great service. We had a 6 pax floating house. Will definitely recommend." |
May 12, 2009 by Connie Schottler Visit Date:May 10, 2009 "Very nice hotel. The location was great. We stayed in a 6 person floating house and it was perfect for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 small kids). The kids had fun in the pool and the playground (which was quite large). I would definitely recommend this hotel for the cost and benefits." |
Good, March 25, 2009 by Graham Ponton Visit Date:March 22, 2009 "Beautiful Resort just 1 problem every 15 minutes in the night the generator would start up for the AC giving you broken sleep." |
Sawadee great job again!, March 10, 2009 by Richard Cannarella Visit Date:February 6, 2009 "This is a huge resort with nice grounds located about 45 min drive from town. Rooms and the floating houses are not as good as advertised. The floating house we booked the AC didn t work and one reg. room had no hot water. Restaurant was a little expensive.(we discovered this hotel adds 10% gratuity to the price of the food instead of a separated charge on your bill). Hotel caters to big groups for day trips and overnight hotel stays. Loud music at night till midnight. Pool huge, deserted some days, crowed with hundreds of kids on some days. Will not stay here again!" |
Great., February 4, 2009 by Maw-kae Hor Visit Date:February 1, 2009 "Hotel services was good.
The facilities of the floating house
is a little bit aged.
However, friendly services made
the staying great." |
Very quick and efficient reply for booking, February 4, 2009 by Rachel Barr Visit Date:January 25, 2009 "Lovely grounds and lovely huge swimming pool. Good buffet breakfast. Standard room clean and nice, good a/c. We would stay again." |
Easy as always! in this case we found a hotel that no other travelagent have this is why we like Sawadee you can find places and still you can allways fell safe that you have a bed to sleep in when you travel around Thailand, and it is wery often lower rates when you bok via sawadee... great!, January 6, 2009 by Fredrik Dahlström Visit Date:December 18, 2008 "A very good hotel! friendly and helpful staff. we hade a floating house and it was in need of some renovation but the rooms vere kept very tidy and clean so it did not matter so much for us...
Very nice pool area as well as resturant, bar, coffe shop.
We stayed here just after the big airport strike so we had the place for our self nice and quiet...
you need at least 4 days here
one day to relax by the pool.
One or two days for excursion to nearby waterfalls (extreamly beautiful) and one day on the Golf course (Nichigo was very good)but there are 6 others to play for those who like to stay longer.
The hotel is rather isolated so you need to keep that in mind (book transport to and from in advance bring extra cash...)
We liked it and will be back next time!" |
Very easy., November 25, 2008 by Thitikul Opdal Visit Date:November 23, 2008 "One would have thought that a resort in a jungle is a place you could go to escape from a hectic Bangkok, right? Wrong!
If you want peace and quiet, don t go there. Obviously this is a place for groups of Thai to have a party in the jungle. They were very noisy, big games in the day and karaoke in the night. It was awful! (Got information from the reception that they re full with Thais every weekend.)
The resort itself was very beautiful with nice garden, swimming pool and river&mountain view. Too bad those were ruined by the noisy games and karaoke singing day and night.
The reception girls were nice but the service in the restaurant was very lousy. Seems like they didn t get their training at all. Apparently, it s a management s problem.
The price was so cheap but honestly you get what you paid for. I don t think we will go back." |
No problem at all., November 25, 2008 by Svein Tore Opdal Visit Date:November 23, 2008 "We will not come back. It was too noisy both day and night from the company groups games and karaoke singing. I don t understand why they couldn t just stay in Bangkok if they wanted to sing karaoke. Why bother to go all the way to a nice nature and ruin it." |
